Religious Education at Stock Primary follows the Essex agreed syllabus exploRE . Religious Education develops pupils’ knowledge and understanding of Christianity, other principal religions, other religious traditions and other world views. Through lively and creative teaching pupils develop respect for and sensitivity to others in particular those whose faiths and beliefs are different from their own. Pupils have first-hand experience of different religious practices and artefacts by visiting places of worship such as the synagogue, Mosque, Mandir Temple and All saints Church Stock.
There is a strong Church-school link. Throughout the year pupils visit the church for services and performances. In addition Stock School invites the congregation to join them for All saints’ service held in school.
Every classroom has a spiritual area which is designed and used by the children. It reflects the seven Gospel Values of our school.
